Meowmin ("we", "our", "app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
Data We Collect
- Journal entries — The text you write in your daily reflections. Stored securely in Cloud Firestore.
- Account information — Email address and display name if you sign in with Google. Anonymous users are not asked for this.
- Approximate location — Used only for calculating accurate prayer times via the Adhan library. Never uploaded or shared.
- Device information — Used solely for scheduling reminders (suhoor, iftar, night reminders).
- Subscription status — Processed entirely by RevenueCat and Google Play. We never see your payment details.
How We Use Data
- Journal text is sent to an AI provider to generate personalized Islamic reflections, suggested tasks, and Qur'anic references.
- Location is used locally on your device for prayer time calculation. It is not transmitted to our servers.
- Email is used only for account identification and support communication.
User-Generated Content
Your journal entries are private to you. We do not display, share, or publish your journal content publicly. If you believe another user has violated our terms or if you need to report content, contact us at tauqeer1040@gmail.com.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with essential service providers:
- AI provider — Processes journal text to generate insights. Your text is not stored beyond the request.
- RevenueCat — Manages subscription paywall and purchase verification.
- Google (Firebase) — Provides authentication (Firebase Auth) and data storage (Cloud Firestore).
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete Account. Data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of deletion.
Third-Party Links
This app does not contain external links or third-party advertisements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
